EA Course/School Revisions A Big Hit!

The Evolutionary Astrology Network’s announcement of major revisions to its Evolutionary Astrology Course/School featuring the Jeffrey Wolf Green method is a big hit with both registered students and the public. Next on the list are podcast phone classes that EA students can enjoy any time of the month. Now is a perfectt time to join the greatest EA Course available whether you wish to be certified or study for your own soul growth. Registered students will be able to attain three levels of certification in Evolutionary Astrology as follows:

Upon certification of each segment of the Course graduates will be listed on the upcoming revisions to the EAN website at www.evolutionaryastrology.net, and may feature articles there. New graduates may apply to speak at future EAN Conferences held periodically at various locations across North America.

Each segment must be complete in consecutive order. Each segment’s homework has also been readjusted in a more logical, comprehensive, building block manner. The homework consists of various assignments and chart interpretations, which are reviewed by Kim Marie (Director of EAN) and assistants via phone and email. All studies are done at the student’s own pace and self-motivation. The average completion time for homework is one year per segment, although there are no time limits.

Now here’s the best part. Each segment of the newly revised EA Course/School is priced at only $500 USD (plus shipping/handling) per segment! This means a new EA student can begin their certification process for a $500 investment. Segments I & II are also offered with one or two sets of DVDs – the last live School taught by JWG and/or Kim Marie’s 2006 Schools. Segment III will be offered as a live School in Spring, 2008.

Next month EAN will start publishing articles on Evolutionary Astrology in this newsletter. Any graduates of the JWG Schools of EA may submit articles for publication by the 10th of each month, 2000-5000 word limits for now. These articles will also be featured at www.evolutionaryastrology.net. Once EA graduates are publishing articles the call will go out to registered EA students working towards their certificates. EAN Interviews Adina Mather

Adina Mather Bio
Adina Mather's formal education includes a Bachelor of Science in Education from Kent State University and a 4-year Certificate in Theological Studies from the School of Theology, University of the South. Adina completed the Lightworker Intensive training through the Natural Psychic School of Metaphysics and is a Minister of the Universal Life Church. She completed the 3-year course of studies with Self-Realization Fellowship and is a Kriyaban member of SRF. Her love for all things Plutonian was brought to light when Pluto began its transit to her Jupiter/Sun in Sagittarius.

Adina is currently editing the old EA Course/School message board archives for an Evolutionay Astrology Question and Answer book and is writing a book on her own spiritual journey. Adina is a 2003 graduate of the Jeffrey Wolf Green School of Evolutionary Astrology and has lectured at the Universal Light Expo in Columbus, OH, (2001) and the Jeffery Wolf Green Evolutionary Astrology Conferences (2004 and 2005). The Evolutionary Astrology Network has started a new series of articles interviewing graduates of the JWG School of Evolutionary Astrology/Correspondence Course. We will next hear from Adina Mather, Librarian for the Evolutionary Astrology Network. It takes commitment and dedication to complete the EA School/Course. EAN would like to network the graduates to recipients of this newsletter and inspire those who desire to become Evolutionary Astrologers! EAN assistant Nina recently emailed Adina.

Nina: You are currently working for EAN as the network Librarian. What does that job entail?

Adina: The job is a little different than what one ordinarily thinks of a Librarian doing. I was in charge of recruiting EA students who were willing to transcribe audio tapes of the EA material that Jeffery has been developing for years now. When I distributed the tapes, I tried to give people the subjects they were most interested in. Most of the tapes have now been transcribed, and I’m in the process of editing them. I also want to find as many other tapes as possible so that we have can have an extensive selection for people who wish to learn Evolutionary Astrology. We have about 20 people so far who have transcribed tapes and another person who has helped me with some editing; all of them have done a wonderful job. EA is blessed with terrific people to work with.

Nina: How long have you been working as the EAN Librarian? What are your favorite aspects of this work? What are the most challenging aspects of the job?

Adina: Kim Marie asked me to be the EAN Librarian in January of 2006. What I enjoy most is refreshing my memory and/or learning new things about EA by editing the transcripts. Some of the tapes have sections that are inaudible, so one of the biggest challenges is trying to fill in missing words and phrases in the transcribed documents. I am also trying to maintain the same format for all of the documents that we will have available.

Nina: What previous job experience and qualifications do you have that contributes to your capacity to work as EAN’s Librarian?

Adina: In addition to being an EA graduate, I worked as a production editor for eight years in the electronic publishing industry. In that capacity I wrote and self-edited abstracts for an electronic database, and I edited abstracts written offshore in the Philippines. I also taught composition at a small business college and tutored students in composition at Kent State University. From an evolutionary point of view, I have the South Node conjunct Mercury in Scorpio in the sixth house, so I have an eye for the detail that editing requires.

Nina: What current projects are you working on? What are your future plans in the network?

Adina: Right now my main concentration is overseeing the transcription of tapes and videos and editing those and other transcripts. I will also be working with Kim Marie to help locate and obtain as much of the EA material on tapes as possible. We both want to see EA firmly anchored on the planet, and there is a rich and extensive supply of EA knowledge on audio and video tapes that helps fill out the Pluto school material and Pluto books that Jeffrey realized and developed.

Several years ago, I started to collate and edit the old EA message board, and have finished nine chapters. God willing, I will at some point be able to finish that.

Nina: You are a certified Evolutionary Astrologer. In that light, how has EA personally inspired you, and how is EA helpful in your everyday life?

Adina: Evolutionary Astrology has actually helped me answer many questions about how and why my own life has unfolded the way it has. While most of the time it hasn’t been easy, at least I’ve been able to understand the “why” of events, even if it’s after the fact. I think it also helps me understand others, as well as the greater scheme of things in a general way.

For me, the inspiration of EA comes through the fact that it is a very spiritual system of astrology in that its premise and teachings are firmly rooted in and reflective of Paramahansa Yogananda’s translation and interpretation of the Gita. In other words, if we can understand and apply the principles of these teachings, in either form, we give ourselves the greatest opportunity to grow and evolve.

Nina: How did you first become aware of EA? How long have you been involved with EA?

Adina: I first learned about EA when I was taking a local astrology class back in 1996. I seemed to have this “natural” and deep curiosity about Pluto, so my astrology teacher at the time suggested I might like Jeff Green’s Pluto book. Like it? I devoured it! While I didn’t much “like” the description of my own Pluto placement, I DID resonate with it. I remember thinking, “How can this man crawl inside my skin?” When I learned that Jeffrey also had a web site, I explored that and, even though I was a “beginning” astrology student, I decided to sign up for the correspondence course, partly because Jeffrey said on his site that “many beginning students actually do quite well.” I started the course in September of 1997 and finally graduated in November of 2003.

Nina: What is your specific work in the context of EA? What are your personal areas of interest in EA?

Adina: Beyond the work of developing the library of EA material to the fullest extent possible, for some inexplicable reason I’ve been drawn to the workings of the asteroid Lucifer. Maybe I could blame it on all my Scorpio. J I’m also interested in Jupiter as the nature of our beliefs and how those beliefs shape our lives, and in developing the material on the seven soul types/pathways to God and how they are reflected in the natal chart.

Sun in Taurus Forecast

The solar month of Taurus (April 20 – May 21) starts the day after Saturn turns stationary direct at 18/19 degrees Leo. Whatever issues and lessons were brought to the surface when Saturn went retrograde, last December 5, 2006 at 25 degrees Leo, have reached some kind of resolution. There is an emphasis to face physical realities. Saturn, the natural ruler of Capricorn, which is another earth sign (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn), brings a forceful punch to our space/time physical world, deflating any necessary Neptunian illusions. What is your reality based upon these days?

The Evolutionary Astrology mantra for Taurus is: I create self-reliance with every metamorphosis. From the excitement of our spring renewals comes the natural pendulum swing to ground ourselves in these new realities. Taurus, the first of the three zodiacal signs related to the element of earth (physical), represents our most basic need to survive – literally. This creates a need to be secure or self-consistent. Saturn is rocking the boat again.

Thousands of years of human-made distortions from natural laws have created co-dependent societies to such an extent that we do not even realize it. It manifests today in an “us versus them” mentality. Many times a self-chosen few go for outer control of the masses. Insecure Taurus will take the bait, not even realizing it is a false sense of security based upon giving our power away outside of our selves. The majority of religions are based upon this concept – an angry male (somehow perfect?) god, judging us from the outside.

Humans do survive better in groups. Yet in natural law this does not mean giving your power away to outside forces. Human consciousness still needs to learn self-reliance (Taurus/Venus) and self-responsibility (Capricorn/Saturn) within the group. This is the theme we start the solar month addressing. There can be much confusion due to human-made distortions that have become unconscious over many lifetimes. What do I take care of myself, and how do I create relationships from that?
