This active, perhaps volatile weekend features the final eclipse of the Virgo-Pisces nodal axis transit, when the Sun and Moon align at 8* Pisces within orb of the South Node, Mercury and Neptune. Mercury enters Pisces and races forward to conjunct the nodal axis and then Neptune next week. Ample opportunity to open the third eye of spiritual awakenings and inspirations, receptive to our higher selves. However, Pisces has a lower shadow of escapism and abuse welcoming dense projections, so be careful of slinging mental and verbal spears this weekend. The steady drumbeat remains the cardinal activity in the mid-degrees of Aries-Libra-Capricorn. Pluto is within orb of squares to four planets – Venus, Mars, Uranus and Jupiter. This is no lightweight configuration and brings deep, stubborn control and domination issues to surface more easily. So the ego is tender and Pisces wants to dissolve boundaries. Perhaps a good time for massage and sensuality to win out on our ecstatic journey to the core of the Soul.

We are winding down the transit of the nodal axis of the Moon through Virgo-Pisces – 2 months remain – and so the conjunction of the Sun and the south node at 3* Virgo is particularly potent to shine the light on any old emotional baggage that may still hold us back.
We have the nodal shift to Leo-Aquarius in May. Be looking for our various webinar invites and receive guidance on this next shift, as well as Venus and Mercury retrograde webinars.
Sun in Pisces mantra: “I am in wholeness with my Reality” Great time to re-focus on unconditional love of self and true forgiveness. However, the major long-term relationship transit remains Jupiter’s waning inconjunct with Chiron (and Neptune in Pisces). Libra-Pisces transits can always reveal the blindspots. How are your unrealized expectations in relationships showing
up? Any post Valentine’s letdowns? Use the power of self-love to overcome.
Finally, Mars will activate the Uranus-Pluto T-square the last two weeks of February. If it you thought we need not any more drama and meltdowns, this crises in action first quarter square will certainly keep the power games and scandals on the front burner.
Remember though, you always remain in charge of you inner and outer peace on this exciting journey to the core of the Soul.

The penumbral Full Moon of Leo happens Friday evening as the Sun, Moon and Earth align at dusk. This is the quintessential Moon for self-love and the Leo-Aquarius axis is all about new levels of objectivity around that. Be aware to feel a deep love within that exudes outward, in contrast to the needy attention-seeking types roaming about. Interesting synchronicity, then, as we approach Valentine’s Day against this backdrop with the Sun also making easy trines to Aries Uranus, Saturn in Sagittarius and freshly retro Jupiter in Libra. Could be wild and fiery with all that air and fire!
The reality check will be Pluto in Capricorn making an uncomfortable aspect to the nodal axis in early 3* Virgo-Pisces. The real special gifts then, may just come from another’s providing you genuine, objective feedback for future healing as you enjoy the fascinating and relationship-driven journey to the core of your Soul. The cross quarter celebrations of the Celtic holiday, Imbolc, (the Christian overlay Candlemas) or simply Groundhog’s Day are upon us. Our ancestors honored this mid-winter season with rituals to honor the return of the Sun, prophesy and purification.
Mercury finishes up its aspects to Uranus/Pluto and makes the waxing square to Jupiter almost stationary retrograde in Libra. No wonder our beliefs about immigration and outer relationships are being exposed, pressured up, and on display in social and political circles. Remember to re-align mentally with all your recent intuitive revelations about those relationships with colleagues and friends. Are you seeing things clearly? Are you being objective?
Venus will be in Aries for a total of three months (February, March and May) with her next retrograde from mid-Aries into late Pisces. Venus just wants us to love and be loved, feel beautiful and fulfilled. The interior conjunction of Venus to the Sun @5*Aries March 25th will provide clarity as to what we feel we deserve and what we shall accept.
Finally, on Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14th, Jupiter makes the waning inconjunct to Chiron in Pisces. The social demands and outer relating adjustments create lots of opportunity for new and genuine growth on the journey to the heart and the core of your Soul.

Not often do we have all planets in direct motion, but from January 8, when Mercury went direct @29* Sag, we observe this synchronicity from our geocentric reality on Earth, until Jupiter goes stationary retrograde Feb. 5th @23* Libra. Little wonder then, with Mars entering Aries Jan. 27th through March 9th, why life seems filled with firestorms of discourse, executive orders, and the subsequent reactions of resistance. What new considered actions are you implementing as Mars begins this new two year cycle from its own sign? Apathy is futile. Evolution does not happen in a vacuum; what is taking place as Pluto in Capricorn marches toward the U.S. natal Pluto in Capricorn (2023) will affect all living beings on planet Earth. In the words of Jonathan Schell: “The active many can overcome the ruthless few.”
Venus joins Mars in Aries Feb. 3rd – April 2nd with a new retrograde cycle commencing March 4th @ 13* Aries through April 15th, ending @27* Pisces. Venus makes the first of three waxing squares to Saturn in Sag @24* Pisces-Sag so the ability to be fully self-responsible amidst all the insecurities is paramount.
Finally, the New Moon @8* Aquarius on January 27th combines with Mercury conjunct Pluto squaring Uranus and Jupiter. Speak up, then put your boots on the ground in this Year of Activism, as you journey onward to the core of your Soul. Join us Now as a Registered Associate – EA Course sale ends this weekend!

The Sun in Aquarius mantra: “I break free with new creativity within myself”
However, we must first look deep within to fully grasp those core values (Venus) that will allow for the new sincere intentions (Venus in Aries) to manifest creatively in our world. What blueprints for the future are you now putting into play?
So Venus is now chasing Mars through The sky and will conjunct Chiron in Pisces, square Saturn in Sagittarius, and make a waxing sextile to Pluto in Capricorn.
Isn’t it appropriate that we have this Venusian focus just prior to the cross-quarter Candlemas (Imbolc) and then Valentine’s Day? This also occurs just prior to Venus’ rare retrograde coming in early March.
So be willing to look into your own relationship patterns and beliefs right now. We will have three special workshops on sale on the Educational webinars (scroll down) page to help get you ready! Also, EA Course materials sale ends Jan. 27th. Join us Now!

The Full Moon of Cancer creates a cardinal grand cross in the sky re-emphasizing this new year theme of “considered activism”
Mercury direct in Capricorn through Feb. 2nd, will also activate that cardinal square as the messenger god travels over the first 15* of Capricorn for the third time and favorably aspects the nodes of the Moon bringing a certain clarity to our decisions.
Venus conjuncts Neptune at 10* Pisces. Assess what is most important to you and then feel the vibration of that deeply. This will determine how you will act upon your needs, wants and desires moving forward this year.
Lastly, but perhaps most importantly, Mars will aspect Pluto, Uranus, Chiron, Jupiter and Saturn all in the span of one calendar week. New insights, a new two-year cycle of core healing, and some adjustments in our attitude towards compromise will be necessary to avoid the old power and control games on this ever-evolving personal and collective journey to the core of our Souls.

2017, the Year of Activism, begins with a distinct Aquarian flavor after Uranus moves ever forward after a five month retrograde, now direct at 21* Aries. The lower octave of Uranus, Mercury, also goes direct this week in Sagittarius, on Jan 8th. This retrograde period in Capricorn found many of us (StarLady and MediaMonk) replacing appliances and hardware of all types, repairing vehicles, doors and windows, all Mercury/ Capricorn archetypes.
However, the big picture connected to the small stuff of Mercury, is the Sun conjunct Pluto at 17* Capricorn. Mundane resolutions aside, this represents tremendous power to re-birth the creative principle within our Souls.
Helping to energize this is the Sun making aspects to Aries Uranus direct (waning square) and Libra Jupiter (waxing square)
What new pathways must be forged? What needs to be released? It just may come down to our intuitive notions about the friends and acquaintances we hold dear. With the Full Moon of Cancer Jan. 12th, decide this New Year who nourishes you and what holds you back on the always exciting journey to the core of the Soul.

As we exit 2016, Uranus, the planet ruling surprises and technology, goes direct at 21* Aries adding an Aquarian punch to the New Year. What aspects of life are you needing to liberate yourself from? What old conditioning patterns are you clinging to for security reasons that really are just holding you back? This is important to ponder as a core theme, for Uranus SD will be in the ingress chart for 2017.
Another core theme involves Mars and Neptune, conjunct now at 10* Pisces. Impatient Mars wandering through the Neptunian fog can become frustrated easily. Watch the tendency to over-do this holiday as excess in food, drugs and alcohol can certainly occur as compensation. Adding emotional emphasis is the Moon conjunct Mars/Neptune on Jan. 2nd. Moderation will help avoid post-holiday blues and depression; another classic Pisces archetype.
Finally, Venus ingresses Pisces from Jan. 2 – Feb. 2 and Mercury regresses into Sagittarius for about a week before marching forward again. What ultimate, meaningful values are you re-connecting with at year’s end? Mercury retro in mutable Sag will guide you truthfully for the highest and best to be revealed to you as we re-set and refresh ourselves on the next level of growth for our Soul in 2017.

Jupiter and Saturn’s last conjunction in May 2000, in Taurus, was all about
a deeper understanding of the many resources we sometimes take for granted
in our lives. Now, at the close of 2016, and three quarters of a cycle
later, both social planets are in a waning phase to the outer planets,
indicating a finishing up, or resolution and completion of those resource
and survival themes.
Jupiter’s waning inconjuncts to Chiron and Neptune has helped to review and
refine the spiritual understandings we have attempted to grasp this cycle.
Now, Jupiter in Libra’s opposition to Uranus could sow some relationship
rebellions and impatience with conflicting opinions.
Saturn’s waning trine to Uranus and its waning square to Chiron may
manifest as disillusionment and a feeling of powerlessness, or, perhaps we
will all summon new courage to call out misogyny and racism and exclusive
politics when they appear.
One thing is for sure, Mars is compressed between Pluto and Uranus and
aspects Jupiter as well, so we all are feeling the pressure to act. Between
now and the end of the year, decide the best course of action that you will
undertake in the New Year individually and collectively. Integrity and
Compassion with those actions will be demanded for success as Mars
conjuncts Neptune in Pisces and begins a new two year cycle for inspiration
