Venus will join Mercury Rx and the Sun in Taurus Friday. Priorities include survival and self-acceptance issues on very personal levels. Good time for pause and meditation on these core issues for each of us.

You may recall that we have had Mercury and the Sun sparking the Uranus – Pluto square. Now Venus will aspect the bass note igniting some feistiness if not downright anger and frustration. She will also activate the fire signs with trines to Mars and Saturn.

Next week also find the Sun’s ingress into Taurus with the mantra: I achieve self-reliance with every metamorphosis.  Breathe deep through this weekend as we experience Mars in Sag and Pluto in Cap beginning their reversal through the heavens over the next few months.

Sun and New Moon at 18* Aries will touch off our spring and bring many new beginnings. It is a powerful punch indeed, and yet a salvo that requires equal measure of detachment and objectivity as this New Moon conjuncts Uranus.
The April retrograde planets of Mercury, Mars and Pluto will also emphasize throwing off old desires and bring a fresh commitment back to Source energy.
The trine of Venus to Mars will offer a new ease within relationships, so long as openness and an honest respect are maintained therein.
Finally, the asteroid Lucifer will turn stationary direct at 25* Leo at the same time Mars and Pluto turn stationary retrograde April 17-18. Lucifer is the dual archetype of the fallen angel vs. the bearer of light. This provides us with another opportunity to choose Source first and foremost and remain as open as possible on your continuing journey to the core of the Soul.

As we wind down the March eclipses and begin a new Solar Year, the consistent theme that remains is one of release and renew. As we release March into April 2016, the inner planets will now activate the t-square bass note of Uranus-Pluto, just 3 degrees beyond the exact waxing squares experienced 2012-2015. So first Mercury, next week the Sun, followed by Venus all reinforcing and re-triggering the somewhat confrontational shifts of consciousness between the plutocrats and the new guard. Make no mistake about the fact that this is, indeed, evolution in action.
Furthermore, the spiritual t- square of Neptune opposing Jupiter squaring Saturn in the middle degrees of the mutable signs, emphasizes the seismographic adjustments in beliefs. The plutocrats are being faced with adopting new beliefs in regards to social and LGBT rights, and the rebels are realizing the consequences of out of bounds actions like terrorism.
Pluto, Mars and Mercury are also changing directions in April. The retrogrades of these planets will most certainly allow for some important introspection for the next several months, slowing developments down a bit and cooling the rhetoric of our our boiling public discourse. This morning (March 23rd) we shared the Lunar Eclipse coinciding with a super-bright Jupiter in the morning sky.

This occurs on the relationship oriented Libra-Aries axis, so extremes and waves of emotions can be felt as distress and shock in the case of Tuesday’s Brussels attacks, or preferably, in a renewal of commitment to support honesty in stating our desires and concerns without violence, fear or judgment. Confrontation need not always yield pain and destruction, it can be the golden door that opens to rekindle our closest ties to loved ones and evolve acquaintances into friendships.

Jupiter’s last quarter square to a stationary retrograde Saturn emphasizes all the outmoded structures that are no longer working for us institutionally and socially. Our job is to put forth new ideas and efforts on what will work during Saturn’s 5-month retrograde from 16* – 10* Sag.

Mercury conjoins the Sun and Uranus this week while squaring Pluto and also makes trines to Mars and Saturn. The spiritual t-square is activated again in the mutable signs so a reconciliation of beliefs is readily available. Venus in Pisces opposes Jupiter and the north node while squaring Saturn in Sag. She is also making a comfy, exalted sextile to Pluto in Capricorn and conjunct Chiron. Whichever goals and values that have been marinating for you are now fully ready to be energized again and manifested. Lots of inspiration to act so long as the underlying intent comes from a deep desire to commune with Source energy in these times of great contrast on planet Earth.

The theme of planets conjunct the south node opposing Virgo Jupiter from 17*- 23* Pisces continues, as Venus will take up the call in Pisces the latter half of March. Whereby communications were affected with Mercury, now our values and relationships take center stage throughout the rest of the this month and eclipse season. So the focus, or confusion, depending on your orientation, will now shift.
Mars, at 4* Sag, makes a waning sesquiquadrate to Uranus in Mars’ sign, revealing deeper layers in our search for truth. Where are you feeling empowered on your journey? Are you liberated and confident or feeling surprised and upset? Saturn has been squaring the nodal axis demanding self-responsibility regardless of our shifting beliefs.
Finally, Jupiter’s last quarter square to a stationary Saturn could bring some real rewards. With most of the outer planets making waning aspects to one another, releasing and letting go is required. Shed the skin of those attitudes and habits that no longer serve the Soul. Mars is also in a balsamic phase conjunction to Saturn, so a revitalization is necessary for new initiations to be manifested in 2016.

Collectively, we are shedding the egoic past this south node eclipse season as the Sun, Mercury, Chiron and Venus all will activate the nodal axis in March at 22* Pisces. Mercury, the busiest of them all, conjoins Neptune at 10* Pisces March 10th. Reality seems illusive alongside communications that could be confused and befuddled with Piscean projections.
Jupiter in Virgo will also oppose the inner planets in Pisces from 16*-18*, further expanding the discrimination process and the possible con jobs. Perhaps some blatant lies will be exposed on the campaign trail.
On Monday, March 14th, Mercury will square Saturn and Mars, sextile Pluto and oppose Jupiter. Stay focused and pay attention. There continues to be a lot of mutability and shapeshifting of opinions.
Finally, Jupiter is two-thirds around the chart in meeting Pluto. The waning trine of these two, in the workhorse signs of the zodiac, will bring rewards and fruition to the diligent, or, conversely, could manifest as criticizing and hoarding behaviors in those not aligning and understanding the desires of the Soul.
