The solar month of Gemini (May 20/21 - June 21) energizes us to go with the natural ebb and flow of life.
Our curiosity arises from the Taurean well of self-reliance and now we become the great explorer. In
Gemini, each moment takes us in new directions and excitement builds with all the possibilities ahead.
Gemini brings opportunity to look at anything from multiple points of view. This is why it is symbolized
by twins.
Mercury, the ruler of Gemini, wants to classify phenomena and take note of all the details. The ability
to communicate comes through as we notice our environment, create words and apply labels. Security seems
to come from how much information we can take in, and from that, how we can explain our physical world in
rational terms.
When our center of gravity comes from the ego, we cannot get enough of whatever we are after. The inner
dialogue can be just one more class, one more book, one more possession, one more conversation and we will
find what we are looking for. Eventually we implode upon ourselves and all the information leaves us
scattered and exhausted. People are taught to operate like this in western societies. Authority lies
outside of self.
When our center of gravity comes from the soul, instead of the ego, we learn to trust our intuition and
our sixth sense. Then details come in to support what we know is right for us. This is the path we all
learn to take on our spiritual journeys. Inner authority progressively replaces outer stimuli more and
more.
Every year the Sun's month-long passage through Gemini teaches us that the facts and details alone will
not satisfy. They must become integrated and make some kind of sense. Gemini loves to go with the flow,
yet there must be a more solid foundation from which to include or discard the chatter that is taking
place. This foundation is the energy of Sagittarius, the philosopher, which is the polarity of Gemini.
Gemini also brings the gift of realizing the relativity of Sag truth. There can be personal truths,
half-truths or lies and universal, timeless truths. What works for one person may not be right for
another. The Evolutionary Astrology mantra for Gemini is: I gather information with intuitive searching.
The duality Gemini faces is the need to explore and yet be secure at the same time. We desire new
information as we intellectualize our life. However, that same new information may create emotional
insecurities as we are exposed to facts that do not fit with our current way of looking at things.
When Gemini feels insecure it will look for the weakest link in any position and attempt to expand upon
it until things end up in chaos and frustration. This is where we play with words rather than listening
to the intent behind the words. It can bring endless arguments and discussions which Gemini both initiates
and attracts.
These confrontations are necessary because they reveal the black/white limitations of viewpoint.
Emotional and intellectual insecurities can cause us to filter what we take in and process. We attempt to
reject whatever we disagree with. Gemini is where we open up and learn how to move past these limited
ideas.
Life is a fluid process of continuous evolution. We are always in a state of becoming. Something new
comes into our world. We adapt and grow. We create new foundations of security. The process repeats
itself. When we resist this process we can create the need for cataclysmic change rather than uniform,
progressive change.
When we learn to utilize the adaptability of the mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces) we
lessen the need for cataclysmic changes. We learn to balance the need for change with the need for a home
base. We learn when to extend our energy and when to bring it back inward. We ebb and flow. This solar
month teaches us that our foundations are in movement itself.
The solar month of Gemini starts with Neptune turning retrograde and ends with Uranus initiating its
reversal through the zodiac. In between Jupiter retro makes its second waning semi-square to Pluto retro.
There will be plenty of activity for Sun in Gemini to wrap its thoughts around. Our nervous systems will
need deep, calm breaths. The Gemini-Sagittarius polarity rules the sympathetic and parasympathetic
nervous systems.
Every time you find your nerves stressed, or your mind on overdrive, make the effort to let the details
go. Take a walk. Breathe deeply and allow Gemini to access Sag for answers. Then your next step can be
revealed to you. Gemini's flow is excitement and then calming down.
Neptune turns stationary retrograde on May 22 at 19/20 degrees Aquarius. It now begins its annual
five-month process of review and letting go until Neptune turns stationary direct on October 29 at 17/18
degrees Aquarius. It can be interesting trying to grasp Neptune's lessons when it is moving forward, let
alone when it moves backwards. It helps to pay attention the week before and the week after Neptune turns
directions. Its deep messages can be made more conscious during those time periods.
Neptune is the archetype of energy that allows us to personally connect with Universal Source or
God/Goddess. It also contains anything that is the illusion of separation from Source. When Neptune does
it retro dance, all our illusions and delusions can be exposed. We must dissolve anything and everything
that gets in the way with our direct hookup.
This can be very unsettling as our egos can get quite attached to our illusions, substitutes and habitual
patterns. We may find our cherished dreams crumbling into nothing. If we have put our partners on the
pedestal as defacto god/goddesses, the disappointments of our projections, and their humanness, can be
devastating. If we are clinging to yesterday instead of moving forward, deep depression can set in.
Neptune's path is to lead us Home. Ego can feel like it is loosing control. We must grasp the concept
that co-creating with Source, or letting go and letting God/Goddess, is about realigning ego with soul.
Then we learn how to realign our soul with Universal Soul. It is actually empowering. The process feels
the opposite. This is an important concept to understand - the process of reuniting with Source feels like
we are giving our power away when the exact opposite is what actually happens. We are learning how to
change our center of gravity. A lot of these loosing control feelings are due to our westernized
conditionings to look for answers outside of self.
Neptune's movement stationary retrograde can actually expose where we have procrastinated our next step in
reuniting with Source. Neptune retrograde is about learning how to get back to Source and letting go of
whatever prevents us from moving in that direction. How is this happening for you?
Neptune's passage through Aquarius provides clues and details. We are exposed to various levels of
spiritual objectivity. Or, it's opposite which is religious/spiritual elitism. Imagine how unsettling it
is to realize everything you have been led to believe is false or distorted.
We begin to see the fanatical obsessions religious and spiritual groups can take in defending their
cherished beliefs and egoic securities. Neptune in Aquarius is relentless in exposing the diversity of
beliefs on the planet. There are now 10,000 documented religions in the world today. More and more souls
understand this need for accepting and even networking with different beliefs on a common path. The term
spiritual progressives is starting to pop up. This then becomes even more frightening to narrow-minded
beliefs.
Pay attention to the repetitious messages coming to the surface the beginning of this solar month. This
is where you get to expand your consciousness. It may be unnerving. Neptune in Aquarius is about
objectivity in every area of life. Again, depression is the message to turn inward and figure out your
next step towards Source. It shows us where we are trying to cling to the past instead of making an
effort to grow.
Mercury makes a waning sextile to Saturn on May 22 at 6/7 degrees Gemini-Leo. This is the same day
Neptune turns retro so any negative messages are really just opportunities to tune in and turn on your
direct connection to God/Goddess. It is as simple as an inner voice.
Mercury in Gemini can receive lots of messages about the new realities Saturn would like to create. First
though, we may be asked to finish up and complete old obligations. Walk through the process. Old reality
structures may be quite disappointing, yet there is something to learn in completing what we have started.
It will give you even more ideas about your new life emerging, and the new mental realities you want to
really grasp.
Venus makes a waning square to Mars on May 23 at 23/24 degrees Aries-Cancer. There is some type of crisis
over our need for freedom and our need for security. The answer is to allow both. Mars in Cancer brings
out emotional self-reliance lessons. When we learn this Venus in Aries is allowed freedom to naturally
grow. We give and receive as each person naturally needs it.
When Mars in Cancer gets insecure, it tries to corral Venus. Venus will just disappear and Mars will
still be learning the same lesson, alone. It is time to make the effort to release old relationship ideas
and ask what needs to evolve in any particular situation. If the signs point to a relationship ending,
make it as healthy as possible. We can say hello only as good as we can say goodbye.
Neptune's stationary retrograde yesterday may expose all kinds of anxieties in our relationships. The
most common reason for this is looking for love outside of self. Find it within and you will then find it
everywhere because you will not be co-dependent upon another to meet your own needs. Friends and lovers
can freely be with you.
Venus makes a waxing trine to Pluto retrograde on May 25 at 25/26 degrees Aries-Sagittarius. Venus wants
to be heard and it wants its desires met, now! Watch out for manipulations after its waning square to Mars.
Mars has revealed those repeating emotional insecurities. Make the Venus effort to meet those emotional
needs yourself.
We get real tests the beginning of this solar month. Just how self-reliant are you really? This
Venus-Pluto waxing trine can be a beautiful aspect of self-love and the manifestation of our desires. We
can "see" what is necessary for us on our path in meeting our own needs.
First Mars revealed the old desires no longer working. Now Pluto comes forth with new desires. Neptune
is just beginning its review so we may be trying to figure out if we are coming or going. Venus in Aries
is initiating new value systems from all this busyness. Sun in Gemini can go into overload. Take time to
step back until you make sense of your larger picture.
Mercury makes a waxing square to Uranus on May 26 at 14/15 degrees Gemini-Pisces. This is the need to go
forth into new mental territory. It can stretch our emotional comfort zones. Detach and observe the
repeating messages. Uranus always releases inner unconscious patterns and information to the surface
through Mercury. Any Mercury-Uranus aspect is a time to listen up and listen within and outward. The
common theme is hearing the message again and again until it gets our attention.
When you feel insecure check out the area where and ask how you can look at things in new ways. Remember,
the Gemini process is always reaching out to know more and retreating when things get hairy. This is
exactly where we sometimes need to keep pursuing things in order to grow. This aspect can bring new
understandings that work for you.
The Mercury-Uranus waxing square is closely followed by the New Moon of Gemini on May 26 at 5/6 degrees.
New mental inspiration is all over the place to the degree we can find inner emotional strength. When
things feel insecure remember a process from the past where you conquered your fears. Now apply the
feeling to the present moment and know you can do it again. How many times did you fall off a bike before
you learned to ride one? How many tennis lessons did it take to get the ball smoothly across the court?
Remind yourself that new growth is natural. Mercury, Gemini, New Moon, I can initiate this. I can do it!
The inner chatter that causes you to retreat can be utilized to move forth into new unknown territory.
This is always a solar month to change our self-talk. So you catch yourself making a negative
self-statement. Smile and replace it with a positive one. Do it again and again, every time you catch
yourself. You can give others in your life permission to remind you when you lapse into a negative.
The Sun makes a waning sextile to Saturn on May 27/28 at 6/7 degrees Gemini-Leo. Now Sun catches up with
Mercury and the need to understand all our multiple choices of creative self-actualization from a deeper
level. We will tend to recreate what feels secure. In reality there are old creative expressions that
have run their course and need to be released.
Saturn can be inspired here. Air and fire signs want to move energy. Make the effort to detach and
observe what is recreating the old ways. Gracefully brings things to completion as you nurse the new
creative ideas coming through. Each and every soul on the planet has an important role in this play
called Earth. How is this happening for you? It can be as simple and beautiful as holding the energy of
the planet healing itself.
These Mercury and Sun waning sextiles help us understand creative work that is contributing to the
collective needs. There may be important messages that come through with these aspects. They can get
lost in the mental overload. Pay attention and listen carefully.
Mercury is active this solar month, by its rulership of Gemini and all its aspects. Mercury now makes a
waxing trine to Neptune retro on May 28 at 19/20 degrees Gemini-Aquarius. As Neptune completes the first
week of its retrograde cycle, all kinds of messages can be revealed to Mercury. This can range from the
excitement of a multitude of new ideas coming through to deep, deep mental depression.
Your personal context will reveal what you need to do in moving toward a deeper inner connection to
God/Goddess. Neptune retro is about getting in touch with reality, and coming down to earth. It is
learning to find the divine in your real world. This aspect can bring inspiration, personally and with
others. If you receive messages that do not feeeel right, do the verbal interaction and find out why.
The essence of this Mercury-Neptune waxing trine is to believe in our self.
Venus enters Taurus, one of its rulerships, on May 29 for almost four weeks. When a planet transits
through its own sign(s) of rulership, it is like coming home after a long journey. We get to relax in
our own space again. For Venus it is like putting on our most comfortable, lounging clothes and settling
in to our favorite foods.
Archetypes merge and Venus in Taurus will now evolve our value systems, needs and desires. Our values
create what we think we need which in turn energizes our desires. For some it is material possessions
and for other it is inner self-reliance. For a few the most important value that can conceived is to know
God/Goddess.
Taurus is the inner side of Venus; Libra is the outer side. Venus in Taurus is about learning to meet our
own needs and desires, or to become self-sufficient. This means physically, emotionally, mentally and
spiritually, all levels of self-reliance. Any upsets with our perceived needs and desires will show us
where we are too outwardly dependent and where we need to go inward. It may also reveal limited
viewpoints and values.
Venus in Taurus will finish up the annual Taurean lessons around our value system, and then we need to
integrate it with the world. Review what is really important to you. Then reach out and go forward with
life.
Jupiter retro makes the second of three waning semi-squares to Pluto retro on May 31 at 10/11 degrees
Scorpio - 25/26 degrees Sagittarius. The first one was December 7, 2005 and the last waning semi-square
is July 24, 2006. We will experience this energy all summer long.
Pluto represents the soul and its desires, both separating and returning desires, personally and
collectively. Pluto in Sagittarius is spiritual questing. It is the sign of Jupiter's rulership. Pluto
is exposing the lies in order to reach deeper, universal truths. Pluto in Sag always brings a deep desire
to return to natural laws. It can also bring fanatical defense of old beliefs when security issues are
involved.
Sagittarius is a sign of travel and migration. As Pluto moves through the later degrees of Sag, we see
upheavals over beliefs and immigration. Who were the real natives of the United States and who are the
immigrants? What feminine-masculine equalities have religious dogmas tried to suppress that now has the
subject bursting onto the screen in the movie The Da Vinci Code?
Jupiter is our intuition and deeper understandings of life. Jupiter in Scorpio quests for the emotional
bottom line. Jupiter is in Pluto's sign of rulership. Two planets in each other's sign of rulership are
called a mutual reception. It is like Pluto in Scorpio and Jupiter in Sagittarius, each in their own sign
of rulership.
Jupiter's 12 year cycle around the chart usually brings a conjunction or two (or three with retrogrades)
to Pluto in each sign of the zodiac. The last Jupiter-Pluto conjunction was December 2, 1994 at 28/29
degrees Scorpio. Their next conjunction is December 11, 2007 at 28/29 degrees Sagittarius. Starting to
see the repeating mutual receptions, now in their conjunctions which create new cycles?
We put planetary archetypes together by their planetary phases and aspects (angular relationships) to each
other. The waning semi-square is the gateway to the balsamic phase, the last of the eight phases (new,
crescent, first quarter, gibbous, full, disseminating, last quarter and balsamic). The balsamic phase is
returning to Source and timeless, universal laws and principles. It is brining the cycle of birth, growth,
full bloom, decay and death to its natural closure in order to rebirth into a new spiraling cycle at the
next conjunction.
How do we put all this together? Jupiter must surrender to Pluto. Old emotional beliefs and the desires
they create are no longer fulfilling us. We can suppress natural laws; however, we cannot destroy them.
Our suppression of natural laws is what actually distorts things. Themes of spirituality versus religion
come to mind. There is a wave of souls ready to see the exposure of religious dogma that has separated
itself from natural, spiritual laws and principles.
One dogma is the myth that we must separate spirit and flesh. It has been the basis of religious
distortions (enforced celibacy anyone?) for way too long. It is hard to even recognize it anymore. One
of the last separating desires to release is the sexual desire. It is the basis for survival. This
Jupiter-Pluto waning semi-square brings the message for sacred sex. How dare a movie even suggest that
someone holy may have needs of the flesh?
The emotional bottom line is not whether or not Jesus had sex. It is understanding that evolution takes
place through the emotional body, our body of senses, of which sexuality is just one aspect. It is
understanding the natural law that men and women are equal. Before the rise of religious distortions,
spiritual wisdom was carried by women and shared with men sexually and equally. Sexuality is the most
sacred act there is. This is the natural, universal truth The Da Vinci Code reveals when we really start
to look beneath the surface.
Souls who question religious dogma and quest for real truth will find out the early religions deliberately
took equal power away from women and deliberately made sexuality a taboo. In the thirteenth century the
largest brothel was in the Vatican!! Jupiter in Scorpio and Pluto in Sag are exposing all these religious
lies and distortions. What will that do to the church coffers? How will this affect birth control issues?
This month and all summer Neptune retro in Aquarius will have people asking what else has been spiritually
distorted? How have your own natural sexual desires and needs been suppressed and made into big guilt
trips? What emotional bottom line is Jupiter in Scorpio revealing for you? Where do you want to
manipulate things because of your own insecurities?
We may find those famous rugs ripped out from under our feet wherever we are outwardly dependent on others.
Jupiter is Scorpio has spent the last year on this theme. The deepest emotional bonding comes from
self-reliance versus co-dependency. Karma mates look for conditional love. Soul mates look for
unconditional love, even if it brings the relationship to a close.
As Jupiter-Pluto reveal deep, personal truths, align with them. Ask where you have bought in to distorted
beliefs. Let Sun in Gemini help you look at things differently, and then make choices to move yourself in
the direction of more natural, spiritual beliefs. We can get some major realizations with this aspect if
we sincerely quest to know the deepest levels of truth. Just realize it may rock your world, and you will
have to realign, maybe in big ways. It is time, go for it.
Mercury makes an opposition to Pluto retro on May 31/June 1 at 25/26 degrees Gemini-Sag. This is the
solar month for mental ah ha's and intuitive hits all over the place. Let Jupiter in Scorpio and Pluto in
Sag do their stuff. Mercury can receive the messages.
Be careful of arguments when others find their security buttons pushed. Allow others the freedom to
remain in their illusions if they are not ready to let go yet. This aspect is for finding your own
personal truths and questing to align yourself with universal truths. Put the intent sincerely out there
and watch the information come back to you, both left-brain and right-brain. Let the flexibility of Gemini
help you shift things.
Mercury then enters Cancer on June 3 for a three-plus week passage. Mercury starts to slow down in Cancer
as its next retrograde cycle occurs in Leo-Cancer during July 4 - 28. All this information can be
overloading our emotional body. Anxiety could show up. It is time to check in to how everything feels.
Cancer leads us to emotional self-reliance and Mercury wants talk about the emotional body rather than get
into it. Yet here our mind must align itself with our emotions. Make an effort. Mercury is going to be
in Cancer for almost two months. Here is a Mercury in Cancer mantra: I love me. How good are you at
saying this in the mirror?
Mars enters Leo on the same day, June 3, for the next seven weeks. Mars is fine passing the emotional
torch on to Mercury. Watery Cancer was not the favorite place for Mars, and yet it has helped us get in
touch with our emotional desires. Now Mars in Leo can do something about those desires.
Mars is back in a fire sign and it will meet Saturn in Leo before the solar month is over. What old
creative desires can you release as Mars initiates new desires in early Leo? We may find everyone wanting
to go after their own personal desires, with everyone else in supporting roles. Look for some balance
here.
Mars can be the leading edge of both separating and returning desires. Although Mars wants to charge
forth in a fire sign again, there is need to reflect on emerging, new desires. We might be trying to
project the past forward in order to be secure. It might be best to find some patience until Mars
conjuncts Saturn on June 17. Then we can initiate what we desire to create and manifest, knowing we have
brought Saturn in to help.
Venus makes a waning square to Saturn on June 4 at 7/8 degrees Taurus-Leo. This tends to be a relationship
aspect, and it points out what is no longer working. Yet we want to resist change and cling to old
securities. This is not the time to do so. Let Venus surrender the old relating patterns, maybe even
partners, so that Saturn in Leo can create what we really need in a relationship. Saturn in Leo can teach
us to honor our self and our own needs.
Let Venus surrender old values that no longer serve us. Those things can be pointed out in both
relationships and resources. We may find things we thought we wanted not worth our precious savings. New
values may be emerging. We may want to put resources forth in those directions down the road. Patience.
If you really want it, you can still get it later. Love yourself instead.
The Sun makes a waxing square to Uranus on June 5 at 14/15 degrees Gemini-Pisces. Uranus in Pisces keeps
giving us deep, emotional hits. Listen to your emotional body. Sun in Gemini is meant to bring those
emotional messages to the light of day. However, we may then tend to rationalize those emotions away.
Not a good idea.
If you have been getting an intuitive hit again and again, pay attention. Sun in Gemini can then look for
clues as to why these emotions keep surfacing. The answer may be in a fleeting thought we ignore. Expand
upon it instead. These are the revelations my emotional body keeps showing me. Here is how I can changes
things to be more supportive of my needs.
Venus makes an opposition to Jupiter retro on June 6/7 10/11 Taurus-Scorpio. Jupiter in Scorpio brings
deep, relationship lessons during its year-long transit. It will reveal our emotional insecurities, in
any area, not just relationships. Venus opposing Jupiter helps to reveal these areas of insecurity. It
can also show us what we need to do to changes things.
Venus is active this solar month as well, only it is making sure we get this self-reliance theme. Here we
are thinking things can lighten up with Sun in Gemini. Venus says only to the degree we have become
self-sufficient. Wherever you may find yourself engaging in power struggles will expose an area of
insecurity.
Mercury makes a waning trine to Jupiter retro on June 9 at 10/11 degrees Cancer-Scorpio. Left-brain and
right-brain connect with this aspect in the world of our emotions. Here we might fall back upon those
emotional needs to be secure at the expense of our highest and best growth. We may find ourselves, or our
partners, coming forth with words that sound so loving. Check in to your emotional body. Listen to your
self-talk. If it doesn't seem right, it probably isn't.
Make an effort to understand your emotional needs and desires. Then make an effort to meet those needs
yourself rather than sliding back into more co-dependency. The water signs teach us deep emotional
bonding. Just remember the purpose of that is to also show us how to love our self that way.
The Sun makes a waxing trine to Neptune retrograde on June 10 at 19/20 degrees Gemini-Aquarius. It is
time to check in again to what Neptune retro is bringing to the surface. The theme is objectivity.
We could settle for words that sound good, yet may actualize rationalize away deep realizations. How do
conversations and certain words make you feel?
Trines bring harmony. They can also hide things. The energy is too easy. Ask for mental truth here.
Make your effort to be as honest as possible in any and all conversations. Ask for the same to come back
to you. When we make the effort, we can possibly comprehend deep issues on a new level understanding.
That is the intent with Sun and Neptune. We want to understand those deep truths that escape us when we
are only communicating on the surface of things.
Venus makes a waxing sextile to Uranus on June 10 at 14/15 degrees Taurus-Pisces. Venus touches base with
all five outer planets this solar month. As Uranus is slowing down and almost standing still (it turns
retrograde June 18), Venus can get an early message here. It will pertain to the self-reliance theme, and
how this ultimately comes from Source.
We may find ourselves wanting to be unconditionally loved, and Uranus in Pisces can reveal how this is NOT
happening. The emerging lesson will be figuring out how to love our self unconditionally. Any type of
Uranus aspect can bring surprises, even sextiles and trines. If this is your situation, go inward and ask
how you can love your self more deeply.
Uranus in Pisces may repeat these Neptune in Aquarius themes. They are mutually recepted in each other's
signs. All solar month we may find illusions and delusions revealed. We may find ourselves getting
bottomed out again. Remember, deep down, these moods and upsets are messages to directly connect in to
God/Goddess. Ask Source for the best ways to co-create.
The Full Moon of Sagittarius is June 11 at 20/21 degrees Gemini-Sagittarius. This is the annual Full Moon
of insights. Sun in Gemini loves to gather information. The Full Moon of Sag helps us put it all
together, throwing out what doesn't work for us. This Full Moon may expose those lies, and truth may not
be what we think it is. That can create emotional upsets.
It might be a nice time for deep conversations. Ask to understand another's truth for them. See if your
circle of expanding consciousness can relate, even if it is not a truth for you. Is there common ground
that can help everyone move to an even deeper understanding of truth? Can you get to timeless, universal
truths?
Mercury makes a waxing trine to Uranus on June 12 at 14/15 degrees Cancer-Pisces. Here are these two
air-like planets in water signs. We could see some steam created even with the waxing trine. The
breakthroughs that happened during their waxing square (May 26) are meant to blossom now.
This is the conscious mind, Mercury, in a beautiful receiving aspect (waxing trine) to Uranus, the
unconscious mind. We will find deep, emotional ah ha's coming up. We could also find emotional upsets.
Uranus turns retro in a few days, so make the effort to get to your emotional depths, again.
It could be an important time for conversations as Sun in Gemini nears the end of its annual passage.
Uranus is trying to reveal our deepest emotional illusions. It can also reveal how to directly connect
into Source. We always find our best mirrors from those in our life, so see what conversational feedback
is happening.
It is ok to keep checking in with your emotional body through all the words. If you find denial and
projection outward, point it out. Be aware that it may also come back to you. Uranus in Pisces is just
like Neptune in Aquarius - only a direct relationship with God/Goddess will ultimately work.
Venus makes a waxing square to Neptune retro on June 15 at 19/20 degrees Taurus-Aquarius. Venus-Neptune
creates love themes, and the highest octave of love for them is with Source itself. The waxing square
almost forces us in that direction so anything less will be exposed as such.
The common situation is finding out how are partners and loved ones are all too human. They are falling
off their pedestals. We are falling off the pedestals they have put us on. When you feel insecure it is
time to start a conversation with God/Goddess. Ask for your next step to be revealed in loving yourself
as deeply as possible. It is identical to your relationship in giving and receiving love with Source.
The Sun makes its annual opposition to Pluto retrograde on June 16 at 25/26 degrees Gemini-Sag. Just like
the Full Moon of Sagittarius, lies can come busting out. Underneath is a deeper level of truth and it
will not necessarily feel very comfortable for anyone. Once the shocks wear off, there can be feelings of
relief. There is an intuitive side of our self that always knows when we are operating on the quicksand
of lies. We have just forgotten how to trust that intuition.
The purpose of Pluto's slow passage (1995-2008) through Sagittarius is to get to universal truths. As
Pluto nears the end of Sag, more and more untruths will be revealed. Not everyone will appreciate that.
Many will attempt to return to their false conditionings in an effort to feel secure.
Every time the Sun opposes Pluto the bright light of day will be exposing anything less than truth,
personally and collectively. How is this happening for you? Can you make a conscious effort to respond
instead of react? Can you trust your intuition?
Mars makes a conjunction to Saturn on June 17/18 at 8/9 degrees Leo. The last few days of this solar
month can be intense. Mars and Saturn are now initiating a new two-year cycle of manifesting our desires.
It is a time to bring forth our unique creative talents. Mars has been sparking Saturn with new ideas
since it entered Leo on June 3. Now it lends a hand to Saturn and we can see things take off.
Be OK with many creative ideas. Any new cycle must have the freedom to explore. In this case, Mars want
to try several creative sparks and just see where things lead. Saturn may not be comfortable with this.
It needs to understand that not everything started will be completed, and it is not necessary to do so.
If you find yourself confused about which way to go, check in on an instinctive gut level and go from
there. Ask Source to show you the way. The more we learn to align with natural laws, the more the
Universe comes in to co-create with us.
At the same time, Uranus turns stationary retrograde on June 18 at 14/15 degrees Pisces. If our creativity
has been based upon any egoic illusions of grandeur, things can come crashing down here. Leo teaches us
that the ultimate source of creativity is Source. Uranus, the ruler of Aquarius which opposes Leo on the
zodiac wheel, teaches us objectivity. It teaches us that we must align personal creativity with the needs
of the collective. When we learn to co-create with Source, letting Source show us what is needed, we
become creative dynamos. We become inspiring leaders on the planet.
Here we have Mars and Saturn on the launching pad, and Uranus shows up to steal the show. The rhythms of
the planets are always working in synchronicity. We just get to figure out how to synchronize with them.
It is possible Uranus may show up at the last minute with great ideas to add. Somehow we can now come
forth with our creative expression and find even better reception.
If this is not the case, perhaps Uranus and its upsets are saving time in the long run. Why go through
all the creative effort if there will not be any fruits to our labor? Back to the drawing board, what
needs to be started again in a different way?
Uranus is retrograde from June 18 (14/15 degrees Pisces) through November 19/20 (10/11 degrees Pisces).
It has an annual five-month retrograde cycle like Neptune and Pluto. Uranus is the individuated
unconsciousness. When it goes retrograde, the unconsciousness is thrown up to the surface and made
conscious. It tends to create those famous Uranian shocks and lightning bolts. The degree of shock is
related to the degree we have been attempting to suppress and condition our unique soul nature.
So almost half the year (five months) most souls are having their deep unconscious stuff (past, present
and future) popping up in what seems to be a chaotic, confusing way. This is where we need to pay
attention to the element of repetition. The new directions our soul desires to go will always keep
repeatedly coming up until we take note and do something.
That is a big clue - the element of repetition. If Uranus keeps giving you the message to go in a certain
direction, take the initiative and make the effort. It will save you grief in the long run no matter how
foreign the repeating messages seem to be. The messages can be clairvoyant (seeing), clairaudient
(hearing) and clairsentient (feeling).
As Uranus turns retro it is a natural time to deal with the past and anything we have been suppressing.
Do not worry. Uranus will show you what that is, ha ha. Heal your past so that you do not have to carry
it around with you like heavy baggage. This is easier said than done. However, with the Uranian impulse
to make us more conscious, Uranus can also show you how things need to be healed. Again, the repeating
messages.
The Uranus retro cycles are in Pisces from 2003-2010 so here are more clues. All things Piscean (read
Neptune retro in Aquarius at the top again) must be addressed. The bottom line is that whatever prevents
us from having a direction relationship with God/Goddess is now being exposed. This includes all our
procrastinations, illusions, delusions, or the separating desires. A separating desire can be anything
and everything. There is one returning desire - to know God/Goddess. It also includes all the collective
illusions like human-made religious distortions. Go see The Da Vinci Code, again.
All the outer planets retrograde are evolutionary impulses to return to God/Goddess. Uranus retro in
Pisces is a double message. Know that your personal illusions are coming up and out. Be OK with some
depression. It is one of your best clues for returning to Source, and a natural part of our healing
cycles. When things are not working, depression leads us inward to figure things out.
Uranus will be more direct than Neptune. That is its nature. So whatever we couldn't quite figure out
with Neptune turning retro, Uranus will repeat the theme in bright, bold ways. Just remember, both are
helping you find your way Home this solar month. Truth is always better than the lies, even through its
revealing upsets.
Finally Mars makes a waning square to Jupiter retro on June 19 at 9/10 degrees Leo-Scorpio. We want to
grasp out for security as Uranus upsets the apple cart. Here you can quest to know what is deep and real
for you. The Jupiter-Saturn waxing squares this year are forcing us to manifest new security patterns
and realities. Mars is coming along right now and helping us understand how to do so.
Go for inner security and the outer world will turn out all right. If your security plan lies outside of
your self too much, it will make you vulnerable to the changes in the world today. If you quest for the
ultimate security - Source itself - you will tend to end up in the right place at the right time, just
like a Gemini moment.
May God/Goddess bless you through Sun in Gemini!
