The solar month of Pisces (February 18 - March 20) brings both ease and stress this month. The second of three Saturn-Neptune oppositions forces us to face what is real in our lives as we let go of fantasy and illusions. However, Jupiter will make the first of FIVE waxing trines to Saturn. Over the next two years, this will create beautiful opportunities to manifest what was only potential from the initiation of their 20-year cycle in Taurus back during May, 2000. As is the case many times, we can have both pleasure and pain in our lives all at once.

This solar month brings eclipse cycles on the North Node of the Moon in Pisces. It emphasizes the Piscean lesson described by its Evolutionary Astrology mantra: I am in wholeness with my reality. All month long we will balance the metaphysical and physical, realizing they are two sides of the same coin. Pisces helps us see that we are spiritual beings having a human experience in order to evolve and perfect.

Pisces, and its ruler Neptune, are astrological archetypes that take effort to really understand. Pisces is the last sign of the zodiac and encompasses everything that came before it. While Aries, the first sign, sometimes cannot get past "me first," Pisces can take on the energy of any zodiacal sign. As the Sun pursues its annual passage through Pisces, an entire cycle of creative expression and self-actualization comes to completion, with the Aries' rebirthings hinting on the horizon.

First however, we must finish up whatever was started earlier. Completion and letting go require an ending, and our society does not teach natural law around this subject. Look at how we attempt to avoid aging and death. Look at how we preach "until death do us part" in relationships. Endings are as natural and necessary as beginnings, and this is one of Pisces' greatest lessons. We may find issues and/or relationships we have avoided coming around again to be addressed this month. Make your best efforts to heal whatever is in your face. Take responsibility for your role in the play. It would not be in your world if it was not part of your creation.

The Piscean energy to include all that came before creates the largest circles possible. It seeks to learn that we really are all One. Pisces seeks to dissolve any and all barriers to Universal Source. While our soul may express the desire, the actual experience feels like letting go of control to our ego. Letting go and letting God/Goddess is actually one of the hardest things for any soul to do. If this was not so, our evolutionary path would not take so long, so many lifetimes.

Part of our soul desires to merge with Source, and part of our soul fears it will lose itself. Until this fear is faced, and dissolved, we create excuses (Virgo, opposite of Pisces), fantasies, illusions, delusions, and all kinds of escapes to the very thing we might most desire. We must literally experience (Virgo) surrender to God/Goddess in order to realize that we do not lose our self. In fact, we merge into co-creators with Source, more powerful than we were before. That is Pisces gift on the other side of surrender.

Traditional religions distort these teachings and condition us to believe that this surrender to God makes us powerless. Somehow an angry, perfect, male god punishes us for our imperfections, and we are powerless victims of random chance. We must suffer whatever is dished out. We beg for mercy that has no rhyme or reason, and relief only happens through our religious leaders and their whims. No wonder we fear to give away our control to outside forces of power. Yet this is exactly what has been conditioned into our souls for so long - 5,000 years at least - that we barely, if rarely, question it. Question indeed, states Pisces!

Anger rages forth when we feel victimized. We strive to swing the pendulum to the opposite extreme and become the angry victor over our circumstances. Neither the victim or victor roles bring peace. That is achieved through understanding natural spiritual laws like the "law of attraction" buzzing around these days. Pisces must realize that it is ultimately responsible for everything it finds in its world. Take a look at your inner beliefs, thoughts and emotions - what have you energized into manifestation? Consciously and unconsciously, you have created every role you play in the great theater called life.

All signs learn objectivity from their polar opposite - Virgo in the case of Pisces. Piscean energy can glimpse the magnificent whole, and it then becomes very depressing when we must come back to reality. Yet the natural law of karma/dharma teaches that we must walk our talk. What we sow we shall reap. Natural law does not play games, only our human distortions do. We must accept and love the reality of our imperfections, and then evolve to the wholeness we envision. Pisces is the potential for perfection, not a guarantee of it.

One of the deepest natural laws that exist is the law of evolution - step-by-step Darwinian uniform and cataclysmic leaps of growth. We cannot pray ourselves perfect in isolation from living life. We evolve ourselves perfect through practice (Virgo) in the real world. And in natural law, we are blessed with as many chances (lifetimes) as we need, both individually and collectively.

The great repeating lesson as the Piscean Age comes to a close, leading us into the coming Aquarian Age is - repeat history again or break free. There is great opportunity for old limited belief patterns and distortions to be brought to consciousness, in order to be released and evolved. These Pisces/Aquarius themes of E=mc2 are coming to life as their planetary rulers Neptune and Uranus move through their own and each other's signs of rulership.

Quantum consciousness is recycling the ancient wisdoms of natural laws that have always existed and always will. Human consciousness is now able to quantifiably explain it in modern language. Eastern and western philosophies are coming to the same place from opposite sides of the spectrum. This is the wholeness Pisces seeks to understand.

February 19 - Venus makes a waxing square to Pluto on February 19 at 28/29 degrees Pisces-Sagittarius. We are at a crossroads in our love relationships. If we have been projecting idealism and fantasy upon others, we face deep disappointments as we realize who they really are. If we have been searching for self-reliance and self-honesty, our relationships may reach new commitments and fulfill us on deep levels.

Venus and Pluto oppose each other on the zodiacal wheel (Taurus and Scorpio, respective rulerships). We balance self-love and merging with others between them. Insecurity creates co-dependence. Self-reliance creates healthy boundaries and merging. As Venus completes its annual passage through Pisces, we have been looking for spiritual value systems to base our life and relationships upon.

We must guard against substituting our partners for defacto god/goddesses. We must have a direct relationship with Source, to minimize projections outside of ourselves. Then we can create real interactions with others. Face your fears in love. Love your self.

February 21 - Venus enters Aries on February 21 for almost four weeks, until March 17. Venus is the first inner planet to initiate a new cycle through the zodiac. We begin to rebirth ourselves all over again from the depth of Piscean ocean. Venus in Aries wants to know thy self and the freedom to explore what that means. It wants excitement and isn't afraid to create some.

Venus wants to relate and yet in Aries, it can fear enmeshment. So we play dance away lover, enticing and then pulling away. We want freedom, yet we do not want to give the same freedom to others. Aries learns lessons coming from Libra, its opposite sign. We all balance the need for freedom with the need for commitment, back and forth from moment to moment. We all learn to give what another actually needs in order to receive the same back. Venus in Aries will now learn this giving and receiving in a new way. If not, the partner can just as easily be the one who leaves.

February 22 - Mercury retrograde makes its inferior conjunction back over the Sun on February 22 at 4/5 degrees Pisces. This is the highpoint of its retrograde cycle - the classic time for answers. Mercury-Sun go mentally deep in Pisces. When retrograde, Mercury must face the larger picture of any situation. Our left-brain has lessons to merge with right-brain. Mercury retro has been clearing away any barriers with Source in order to transcend. It is time for messages to come directly from God/Goddess.

It can take effort to communicate what we emotionally sense right now. Yet learning to communicate better is what Mercury retrograde is all about. Just make the effort. If there is anger, we are not taking responsibility for ourselves in some way. Self-responsibility minimizes projections, which minimizes disappointment and anger.

There can be some type of deeper understanding with regard to judgments. Especially those based upon narrow standards of right and wrong. We can see so many shades of gray right now. We could see that unconditional love of self can lead to better ways of loving others. We can find compassion as we realize we are all on the path of self-improvement in our own, unique ways.

Find the many ways to say, I love me, I love you, I love the world.

February 25 - Mars enters Aquarius on February 25 for the next five weeks, until April 6. There is need for objectivity with our desire nature in order to individualize into who we uniquely are. As Mars falls behind the Sun and inner planets, it brings the final Aquarian lessons. Mars likes the freedom to individuate. It does not want to follow the crowd anyway, doing what everyone else is.

Mars in Aquarius will do the typical "not this, not that" with its desires. It will throw out whatever no longer excites it as it rushes forward, sometimes rebelling just to rebel. Mars may need to detach before acting, and check in with what it really does want. Who are we? What desires come from our own soul? What roles are meant for us to perform in our family, social life and work?

In about one month, Mars will conjunct Neptune in Aquarius and oppose Saturn in Leo. This will highlight the themes just described. If we are compromising whom we really are shock and trauma may come along as an evolutionary necessity to break us free. Mars must learn that "group of one" lesson, and then find like-minded souls to work with. We must figure out our own desire nature and then balance it with purpose in our communities.

February 26 - Mercury retrogrades back into Aquarius on February 26 for the next three weeks, until it reenters Pisces on March 18. Mercury adds energy to Mars and these final Aquarian lessons. From the visions of Pisces, Mercury must determine what is real and what is just fantasy or wishful thinking. What can be accomplished in the current space/time context? The vision may be true yet not ready for manifestation at this time. Detach and check in with your current reality structures to process through.

Mercury retro in Aquarius learns how to move forward from the element of repetition. Our next step keeps coming into consciousness, the reminder in our head. This is how we separate the fact from fiction. Mercury retro teaches us to release the mental fluff and learn how to process information in new ways. With Aquarius, we learn to look at things from broader and broader perspectives while remaining in touch with our own ideas.

If it is something from your past that keeps popping up, address it and heal it in order to release it with Pisces. If whatever you've attempted to suppress keeps coming back around, apply the same rule. The directions forward will make themselves known through repetitious thoughts. It is the spark of insight that comes from multiple sources with the same message.

February 28 - Saturn retrograde makes the second of three oppositions to Neptune on February 28 at 20/21 degrees Leo-Aquarius. The first opposition was August 31, 2006 and the last aspect is June 25. This is probably the biggest series of planetary aspects for the year, with an orb of influence for that long as well. Reality meets fantasy, where is the balance?

It can be hard to understand that Saturnine realities must give way to Neptunian inspirations when the opposite appears to be true with dreams falling away. Our world's crash and bubbles burst with these two planets. The first opposition late last summer into fall could have brought things tumbling down. This happened only if our foundations were built upon some type of distortions, or we refused to let go of the past.

Humanities' conditioned distortions from natural spiritual laws and principles can create tough shocks as we realign with what is real and natural. Yet it serves us best in the long run. Neptune, ruler of Pisces and the planetary archetype for God/Goddess, is spending its long transit through Aquarius (1998 - 2011/12) looking for objectivity with religion and spirituality. Aquarius is the humanitarian. How can differing religions claim to be the "only" way while their followers are taught to hate and judge? That is the Aquarian distortion of elitism.

When our foundations are built upon superiority/inferiority beliefs, the balancing lessons of equality can be quite humiliating. It can feed repetitious cycles of revenge. War creates more war and peace creates more peace - the law of attraction in action. This applies to our intimate relationships and friendships, as well as countries and religions. It applies to work environments as well.

Neptune in Aquarius seeks to dissolve these inequalities. Saturn in Leo becomes the wakeup call in our own consciousness on whatever side of the superiority/inferiority spectrum we need to balance. We may be humiliated and we may need to stand up for ourselves as equals. The spiritual paths to Universal Source are as varied as the souls walking upon the planet. It is an individual Saturn in Leo thing. Individuated consciousness comes from collective consciousness and returns back to the collective in our own unique ways.

Leo-Aquarius is the polarity that balances individual creative expression with the needs of the larger community. Saturn in Leo wants its creative realities rewarded and Neptune in Aquarius demands that individual creative sparks serve the needs of the group. This has been the Pluto in Leo generation's lifelong lesson. How do I creatively actualize myself? They receive collective support and approval when they fulfill communal needs and purpose.

As Saturn transits Leo and moves over the natal Pluto's of this generation, the souls who insist upon selfish creative endeavors may find themselves ignored by society. Those who refuse or are afraid to creatively express themselves (the selfless side) may experience deep disappointments for ignoring and/or procrastinating their life's lessons. The Saturn-Neptune oppositions now come along to address this on both sides of the spectrum.

All souls are learning this lesson in some way. Inwardly ask this question: How do I align with Source in natural ways to co-create and express Source energy through me? Aligning in this way will evolve the planet and our own individual soul growth and creativity at the same time. Source energy will individually align us with creativity in deep, fulfilling expressions. We learn to spiritualize our realities.

February 28 - Mercury retro makes the second of three waxing sextiles to Pluto on February 28 at 28/29 degrees Aquarius-Sagittarius. The first aspect was January 31 and the last waxing sextile is March 16. This is the only Mercury aspect to other planets during this retrograde cycle. The Mercury-Pluto theme revolves around mental awakenings on deep soul levels.

Most souls know themselves in obsessive/compulsive needs to be secure. We create circular thinking to remain safe. It can take a shakeup here and there to wakeup. Such is the work of Mercury retro in Aquarius. The nice alignment with Pluto in Sagittarius lends toward an ability to step back, mentally process things in new ways and reach for a new level of truth and self-honesty. Make the effort.

Can you attempt to put yourself in another's perspective as well? It will definitely broaden your own viewpoint. Perhaps you can reach a new depth of Piscean compassion for others at the same time. Go for the conversations here to discuss whatever needs to be addressed. Mercury retros ask us to look at things more than once.

March 3 - The Lunar Eclipse / Full Moon of Virgo is March 3 at 13 degrees Pisces-Virgo. Pisces is a water sign (Virgo is earth/physical) and full of emotions, and so are Full Moons. Lunar Eclipses can be some of the most emotional times of the year. Whatever has been brewing below the surface comes busting out.

With the Sun in Pisces on the North Node (future) of the Moon and the Moon itself in Virgo on its South Node (past), we must watch emotional judgments. They may come back to haunt us, or at the very least, need to be readdressed. This is a North Node eclipse season with lessons of compassion and unconditional love. Judging will only box us into a corner.

Perfection rarely exists here in these physical realities. It is why we are here - to evolve and perfect. As humans in this realm are not perfect, mistakes can and do happen. Forgiving ourselves and others is one of the greatest gifts we can give ourselves. We must learn to discern another's intent rather than judge the outcome or circumstances. Those mistakes can bring some of our greatest lessons. Love as you want to be loved. Be in the world what you wish to see in the world.

Virgo can always figure out what is lacking or needs to be done. Its lesson is pointing this out in loving ways that empower another rather than tear things down a negative spiraling path. So breathe through these emotional upheavals and know that are always multiple sides to any story. We have many choices on our evolutionary path Home. We each get to make the best choice for ourselves in each moment with whatever resources we have. Consciousness is a renewable resource.

Any victim/victor behaviors stem from human-made conditioned beliefs of a perfect god with imperfect humans. Well why would something perfect create this big mess? This is the great false conditioning of many belief systems - a perfect god, judging us and creating conditioned or learned guilt. It makes for a great controlling factor. Utilize this Lunar Eclipse to throw off this kind of conditioning. We are all on this great evolving path together, from the least evolved being to the most evolved being. Find peace and be gentle with yourself. You are doing the best you can do each and every moment. You will naturally do it better in the next moment, and the next, and the next.

March 5 - The Sun makes its annual conjunction to Uranus on March 5 at 14/15 degrees Pisces. This aspect is about rebirthing our individualization process. We can touch in to that spark of God/Goddess that comes through us and is totally unique to us. How beautiful. We may be like a speck of sand on the beach, yet the aspect of God/Goddess that comes through us does indeed matter. As each living being takes another evolutionary step, so does Universal Source evolve.

The Sun and Uranus are a unique planetary pair ruling opposite signs on the zodiacal wheel, Leo and Aquarius respectively, me versus others. They merge together here in Pisces to teach the interconnectedness of everything - what you say and do to any one, you say and do to everyone. Rejoice in the creative spark of others to see it reflected back in you.

The repeated sparks of inspiration can come through very strongly right now. As this is an annual cycle, we need to strive for manifestations of our unique creative expressions when Uranus opposes the Sun during its retrograde cycle - September 9 at 16/17 degrees Pisces-Virgo this year. Hint: unconditional self-love with healthy boundaries that then sets us free to be who we naturally are as creative souls.

March 7 - Mercury turns stationary direct on March 7 at 25/26 degrees Aquarius. Another mental review now finishes up, allowing us to process life from a deeper and broader perspective. This is the spot where Mercury entered its shadow period on January 30, so we may revisit some issues from then. Mercury now moves through its shadow period again until March 27 when it reaches its stationary retrograde spot of 10/11 degrees Pisces.

All planetary retrograde cycles make these three swipes over an area of the zodiac, and our chart. It is like getting three chances to get it right. It is always an area of our life (houses in the chart) that we need to take extra time with in order for that planetary archetype to evolve and perfect something to the next level.

This time Mercury has been learning to process information from broader perspectives in order to intuit wholeness. While this can be a Merc retro theme every time, this passage through Aquarius-Pisces and back again, emphasizes the theme even more. There may be old beliefs exposed that held us in limited thought patterns. Somehow our viewpoints have expanded and we do not look at things the same way anymore.

Quantum physics teaches that consciousness creates matter and Mercury is getting it! It teaches that one part of the hologram contains all of the hologram - everything is interconnected in all possible ways. Explore this concept in your own life, and your own thought processes. If it takes you one step closer to energizing love versus hate, then Universal Source has done the same. Wow, what a concept to understand.

March 8 - Venus makes a waxing trine to Jupiter on March 8 at 18/19 degrees Aries-Sagittarius. Venus creates a grand trine (triangle) between Jupiter and Saturn this month in fire signs. Fire signs are the element of spirit so excitement is in the air! What a nice initiation to the first of the five, yes five, waxing trines Jupiter will make to Saturn. Venus wants a party! Here is the real time period to celebrate Valentine's Day astrologically so make your plans for today and tomorrow.

Venus-Jupiter resonates with love and expansion so we may need to temper the energy a bit. We could start with honesty. The fire signs can get so excited they forget the details. They begin to believe their own embellishments. Stick to the facts and truth of the matter and you will not have to remember exactly what was said when to whom.

Jupiter in its own sign of Sagittarius heightens our intuitive capacities. Quest for the deepest levels of truth you can find. Be as honest as possible and that is what will return to you. Venus in Aries needs to learn self-honesty here. Sometimes we do not want to look in the mirror. Make the effort. You are important, and so is everyone else. We are each the most important person in the world, to ourselves. Can you honor this energy in others?

March 9 - Venus makes a waning trine to Saturn retrograde on March 9 at 19/20 degrees Aries-Leo. On this side of the grand trine, Venus learns self-responsibility. We could yearn for others to take care of us. We could look for others to blame for our own issues. Or, we could find ourselves in situations where other people want to take care of us, promising the sun, moon and stars. Read between the lines: in return for having control over us. No, thank you.

Venus in Aries is at an important crossroads with Jupiter and Saturn. If at any time the energy does not feel right, trust your self. Be honest about it. It is better to get everything out in the open rather than play the games of manipulations trine energy can carry. Trines are easy to evolve with and easy to resist growth. Venus can be both selfish and lazy here, and neither work in the long run.

Be responsible for your self. Then the growth with Jupiter can be real evolution, and the foundations with Saturn will not crumble. Strive for that balance and equality between self and others. Saturn can show Venus the steps necessary to really connect with another on deep, fulfilling levels so that everyone gets their needs met in healthy ways.

March 9 - The Sun makes a waxing square to Jupiter on March 9 as well at 18/19 degrees Pisces-Sagittarius. This is an opportunity to move into new spiritual growth and action. While Sag relates to personal beliefs, Pisces wants timeless, universal laws and principles. Sun in Pisces leads us in that direction annually. Now as Pluto walks through its last year in Sag (1995 - 2008), this "beliefs" issue keeps coming around for discussion.

Limitations in our personal beliefs can be exposed. It could make us very uncomfortable and insecure. Yet when truth is revealed something deep within our soul resonates. If we try to suppress that, depression can set in. Piscean depression can be a natural way to turn us inward, searching. It is a method for letting us dissolve any barriers between Universal Source and ourselves. Let go and let God/Goddess in the natural sense, which is surrendering to co-create on even more powerful levels. Creative energy will then burst forth from this process.

March 9 - Venus makes a waxing sextile to Neptune on March 9 at 20/21 degrees Aries-Aquarius. The spirituality themes are strong this time of year. They have been strong this entire decade. Venus-Neptune teaches us about love, both personal and universal. Venus wants to love in new ways through Aries. Those on the selfless end of the spectrum might be learning a little more selfishness and "me first" energy. Those on the selfish side of the equation might be figuring out the selfless and giving modes of action.

Neptune in Aquarius is teaching us about the "geometry of God/Goddess." The finer along the scale physics travels, the more the scientists begin to sound like the mystics. Energy and matter are interchangeable. To change your form, change your energy first. Venus in Aries can get a nice boost along these lines from Neptune. The specifics will be unique to each soul and their next evolving lesson in love. May you be most successful. May you find a new way to love your self, moving your social life in new directions as well.

March 16 - Jupiter makes the first of five waxing trines to Saturn over the next two years. The first one is with Saturn retrograde on March 16 at 19/20 degrees Sagittarius-Leo. The second one takes place in Sag-Leo on May 6, while the last three waxing trines occur in Capricorn-Virgo on January 21, September 8 and November 21, 2008. The typical outer planetary (Jupiter - Pluto) interaction is three times with their retrograde cycles, although the slowest-moving outer three planets can meet up to 7, 9, 11 or more times. We just get more chances to really get the evolutionary lessons.

Jupiter rules growth and Saturn rules decay. Together they create 20 year cycles of expansion and contraction. They are in expansion mode when Jupiter is 0 - 180 degrees from Saturn, and contraction through the second half of the circle. Jupiter is stronger during this first half. It is leading Saturn into new territories. The themes will revolve around their last conjunction, which always bring about the death of an old cycle as it initiates in a new cycle.

Jupiter-Saturn had only one conjunction on May 28, 2000 at 22/23 degrees Taurus. Taurus is all about the resources we need for survival - necessities and luxuries. It is food, clothing and shelter. It is all resources - inner and outer. Taurus is ruled by Venus, the inner side of Venus and what we value. For some this is food on the table and basic physical survival, and for others it is creative expression. Spiritual growth can also be valued. Whatever is important to us we will place value upon and therefore desire to have in our lives.

Think back to the beginning of this decade and what was important to you - love, career, money, etc. Have you brought things into manifestation? Now is the time for those values to blossom and flourish into physical realities. Jupiter will bring forth the inspiration for manifesting new realities around our resources. The specific example will run the entire spectrum of the archetype (Taurus). One lesson is to place as much value on inner resources as outer resources. We call this self-reliance.

A waxing trine is the energy to bring forth the fullness of individual creative expression between any two planetary archetypes. The energy is easy to understand and work with. The danger is laziness. We know what to do, and yet it is easy to resist and remain in the status quo. We need to make an effort to grow. In this Jupiter-Saturn case, we have lessons in managing our resources wisely.

We could be so full of ourselves we go overboard. We could spend resources we do not have, U.S. federal budgets or credit cards anyone? The same aspect could also bring fruition of wisely managing our resources. With Sagittarius-Leo, spiritual growth could bring forth material support in magical ways. We could think our beliefs make us immune to reality checks. Again, any archetype can express at either end of its spectrum and anywhere in between.

What are your beliefs about your resources? Do you energize an abundant universe, or one of lack? At the same time, do you have your financial feet on the ground (Saturn-Neptune oppositions)? Do endless material possessions fulfill your spiritual growth? Where is your balance between inner and outer resources? These are questions each of us will answer individually. Each soul is in a different spot and so one answer does not fit all. We come forth into manifestations/incarnations to evolve and grow, to then return back to the Unmanifest. We each decide how to do it in the ways that are best for us.

During these Jupiter-Saturn waxing trines there is an optimism, that when tempered with reality checks, will create beautiful expressions of self-growth with societal rewards as well.

March 16 - Mercury makes its third and final waxing sextile to Pluto on March 16 at 28/29 degrees Aquarius-Sagittarius. The mental and intuitive faculties are sparking new insights all over the place. These two planets will dance with the Jupiter-Saturn trine and expand consciousness in new and exciting ways.

This is the only Mercury retrograde planetary aspect, and the last one of its most recent retro cycle. Make an effort to have another philosophical conversation. Detach and really listen to where another is coming from. Let your self look at things in a new way. If your gut gets fearful, it is a message for more self-reliance.

One of our Piscean lessons is to let go of victimization. On the deepest levels there are no victims. There is only unconscious attracting, and the purpose of shock and trauma is to make us conscious so that we can make different energizing choices. If this was taught in our educational systems, and home and religious environments, the world would be a different place. It is possible to have a planet of peace. How much war will it take us to energize differently, to energize peace? It starts with ourselves.

Another Piscean lesson is to let go of victorization. I am going to get them back one more time, then I will quit. When we step back and look at this energy from the perspective of reincarnation, who can remember who first started the hurtful gestures? Someone gets to find the courage to just say no more, stop. Make love not war. It is what we use to do a long, long time ago, and the world was a much more peaceful place then.

March 16 - Venus makes a waxing trine to Pluto on March 16 as well at 28/29 degrees Aries-Sagittarius. Venus is racing forward, pulling us toward the rebirths of spring; while Pluto is slowing down to begin its annual retrograde cycle - March 30 to September 7, 2007. A deep part of our soul wants to throw off the past. Venus can help.

At the same time we want to cling to this past because it offers security, even in its exposure of living a lie. We can go for it, or we can resist. Make the effort to self-reflect and be as honest as possible. Spring brings a natural time to let go of the past and rebirth into new growth.

Be a channel for universal truth - walk the talk. Ask for your own inner truths to be revealed. Ask for personal truth to realign with universal, timeless truth. Let a new you come forward.

Pay attention to any Venus-Pluto games. Expose any manipulations. Strive to love in healthier and healthier ways. Love yourself enough to give others the freedom to be who they want to be. This can then come back to you. You desire a love partner, yet do not need one. Partner with your self first.

March 16 - Mercury makes a waning sextile to Venus on March 16 at 29 degrees Aquarius-Aries. In this case as Mercury comes off its last retrograde cycle, it can offer Venus some deeper understandings. Venus in Aries may be figuring out it isn't any fun to go it alone all the time. Friendship and love are important. What do we inwardly recognize about our self right now? What is meaningful in our lives?

This is a very active day and on personal levels Mercury is the messenger between Venus and Pluto about what is really of value to us. Mercury can help with some objectivity about ourselves. We may be hearing these repeating themes from those closest to us. Pay attention and listen. The deeper intent is to help us evolve.

Throwing off the past does no good if we cannot learn how to create and sustain new growth. As Venus in Aries has charged forward into the new, we must now build upon what we have started. Mercury in Aquarius is identifying that what for each of us. Inner self-love is always in the mix somehow, and as we reach the end of the solar month it will include unconditional self-love as well.

March 17 - Venus enters Taurus on March 17 for the next three-plus weeks, until April 11. Venus now moves into one of its two signs of rulership (Taurus and Libra). This is the inner side of Venus, and brings lessons of self-reliance and self-sustainment. The Taurean archetypes of survival - food, clothing and shelter - come to the forefront. How do we take care of ourselves physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually?

We must have a successful relationship with ourse;ves before we can really successfully merge with another. As the inner planets come off of the last half of the zodiac, energy rebirths back to ourselves again and necessarily so. The outer world is a reflection of our inner world. So it is back to working upon ourselves first. Here Venus wants to go inward and consolidate its initiations from Aries. How can we inwardly relate to ourselves now?

Venus in Taurus must be careful of creating sustainment patterns that it can become stuck in for security reasons. It can limit its own growth. When this happens, it sets up those famous Scorpio (polarity of Taurus) confrontations to create metamorphic leaps of growth. Real self-reliance keeps evolving versus trying to remain static.

Venus in Taurus will also initiate another review cycle of our inner needs with regard to sexuality. This starts with self-sex - a sexual relationship with ourselves. Again, healthy self-sex will lead us into healthy sexual relations with another or others. How is this coming on to the horizon for you? As the inner planets move through their annual cycle in Taurus, this theme will be repeated throughout this coming spring.

March 18 - Mercury enters Pisces on March 18 for the next three-plus weeks, until April 10. Once again, left-brain Mercury now moves through the most right-brain sign of the zodiac. This time around Mercury is more adjusted and accepting of its own intuitive powers. There could be strong psychic messages over the next few weeks.

It is our own individual opportunity to tap into Universal Source itself in some way. We can step down the nebulous wholeness into bits and pieces of natural laws we can grasp. As mental as we sometimes want to be, deep universal truth comes through as an emotional, intuitive understanding that the brain then makes sense of. The same happens with pieces of the truth that get distorted. This is why we have such strong emotional connections and therefore defense mechanisms to vastly distorted understandings of life. Our emotional securities become caught up in whatever we perceive truth to be.

Mercury can quest here to get to the deepest levels possible. Mercury through Pisces can be a great time for initiating meditation practices. Getting to the deepest possible levels of universal law is best found by asking questions. And asking and asking and asking. It never ends. We just keep expanding our consciousness. Go for it.

March 18 - The Solar Eclipse / New Moon of Pisces is March 18 at 28/29 degrees. This carries on the energy of Mercury in Pisces. New Moons are new beginnings. Solar Eclipses really accent the new beginning theme, usually around areas that have been building up for the last six months (since the last eclipse season). When they follow a Lunar Eclipse the emotional upsets have been exposed and addressed.

We have spent the last two weeks pondering all these Pisces-Virgo themes. There are no victims, only unconsciousness with our energizing patterns. Anger can serve to make us aware of how we give our own power away to others. Disillusionment serves to get us in touch with reality, the same with disappointments. Depression is a path for leading us back to God/Goddess, no substitutes. The majority of guilt is a controlling mechanism by outside forces.

We can make sense of things. We can change and begin anew. We have had an opportunity to look at all the many ways we see lack in our world. The lesson is flipping to the other side. The cup that is half empty is also half full. How do we fill it up? Again, the Piscean yearnings to connect with Universal Source lead us in the direction towards Source. The lesson is energizing the directions we desire to go, not where we are coming from.

Another difference is to do this from a place of gratitude (cup half full and filling up). A sense of thankfulness aligns us with the energy to bring in more of what we are thankful for. This is the real way to pray. I am thankful and grateful for.... How many mantras/prayers can you create along these lines? This can be beautifully initiated at this New Moon in Pisces, regardless of any eclipse energy attempting to trip us up. Just make the Virgo effort again and again and again.

March 19 - Finally the Sun makes a waxing square to Pluto on March 19 at 28/29 degrees Pisces. As the inner planets finish up their path through Pisces, they encounter Pluto in late Sag and get a jump start out the door, waxing square! Life is a spiraling path, upward or downward depending upon our energizing choices. The last degrees of both Sagittarius and Pisces bring wisdom.

Well, what are we going to do with it? Ready for a spring renewal and rebirth anyone? Go for it. How can you rebirth your own soul at this point in your life? It does not matter how many times you have tried before. It only matters that you try again and again... The circle of life spirals on and on and on. Consciousness has no end. Consciousness continually springs forth and evolves. Go for it! Make a leap of growth!

May God/Goddess bless you through Sun in Pisces!
