Most birth charts contain a couple, and sometimes several, planets traveling retrograde. Retrograde planets – Mercury through Pluto – redefine their archetypes for a lifetime (natal) or temporarily (transits and progressions), or both. Souls choose natal planetary retrogrades when there is an evolutionary need to let go, reflect, reconsider, re-experience, etc. any area within their soul that is resisting change. All souls receive opportunities to grow as the planets continue to go retrograde via transits.

These lectures will define the retrograde archetype and then look at Mercury – Pluto retrograde archetypes, both individually (natal and progressions) and collectively (transits). The intent is to embrace these natural, geocentric, planetary retrograde cycles that help souls evolve and grow.
